Hey there, I’m Ira and that’s my blog Ira’s Insights!
I am an Interior Designer, who loves to design, create and build interiors as well as furniture. But it is not just that, learning new things is always exciting and it is so much fun to share what I love with the world.
How it all started
I started early to discover my love for interiors! When I was ten my parents were building a house for us. I used to watch them moving miniature furniture around on the floorplan of the new house and when the house finally was built I started to look closer into colours, furniture and materials. I loved going with my parents into the shops and having a look at all those materials they had to offer. But to be fair, when I look back my passion started even before I went to kindergarten. I used to play a lot with Lego and Playmobile and quite often I would built rooms and houses fully furnitured just to light them up in the right way.
University and so on
Designing never let me go, so I started to study interior design in 2013. And it was the best thing I ever did. It was so much fun. In 2017 I finished with my Bachelor Degree and I started travelling that summer to gain more experiences and to learn more about interior design. I wanted to have a closer look on interior design in other countries, it can be quite different though.
And that’s what I’m going to write about: all the great interiors I found during my travels. But that’s not it. I am also going to write about all the things I know and about all the interiors I designed.
I hope I set you on fire with my passion and I’m looking forward hearing and working with you!
I do what I do, because I love it. I like the field. I like to meet people and discover their favourite designs. I love to create new interiors and make them a better space. Working holistic is what I do. Hopefully we will cross paths one day and we’ll start making great interiors!
